The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Hellenic Republic, H.E. Mr. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Naama met on Thursday, 16th May 2019, with the Greek Minister of Culture and Sports, H.E. Mrs. Myrsini Zorba.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Athens, in cooperation with the Group of the Greek Veterans of Football, conducted a friendly soccer game in the framework the National Sport Day of the State of Qatar. The event took place on Tuesday 12th February, 2019, at Veikou Park. as Heads of Foreign Diplomatic Missions in Athens, Directorates of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and many other officials from the field of Sport and Culture attended honored with their presence.

Mr. Michalis Kalogeros, the Deputy Minister of Economy & Development HE. Mr. Sterios Pitsiorlas, the Deputy Foreign Minister HE. Mr. Polaris, the Director of the Diplomatic Cabinet of the Parliament's Speaker, HE. Mr. Theokharos, the former Minister of Social Insurances HE, Mr. Panagiotis Koroublis, as a large number of Directors of the different Departments of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Representatives of the Greek Air Force and Military Attachés.

Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Interior His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani has sent a written message to the Prime Ministre to the Hellenic Republic, H.E. Mr. Alexis Tsipras.
