Universities and higher education institutes

There are four universities in Athens:

• Athens National Kapodistrian University also known as the "Athens University"

• National Technical University of Athens (Faculty of Engineering).

• Bandius University of Political and Economic Sciences.

• Baarius University of Economic Sciences.

There are also many technical colleges  and other higher education institutes.
