Do and Don't


Do’s:

  1. confirm the validity of the visa sticker in your Passport
  2. make sure of the trip arrangements:
  • Air-ticket booking
  • hotel reservation
  • transportation from the airport to the hotel
  • transportation within the city
  • to ensure the validity of international driving license if needed.
  • make sure to carry a proof of your identity throughout your presence in the country.


Don’ts:

  • Do not get close to the downtown area, Omonia area in particular, late at night.
  • Do not get close to protests or strikes, your hotel will be aware of all the protests and strikes in the country.
  • Make sure to inquire about the kind of meat before you order any meal in a restaurant.
  • If you use a taxi for your transportation, make sure to pay only the amount stated on the meter.
  • it is advisable not to use any public transportion, and be aware of your personal belongings if you do.
  • Do not carry large amounts of money.
  • Do not leave large amounts of money or any valuable belongings in the hotel room.
  • To avoid drawing attention, do not wear valuable jewelry or watches.
