Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Hellenic Republic. The website will provide you with sufficient information about the State of Qatar, its culture and achievements in all fields, in addition to an overview of the Qatari-Greek bilateral relations.

It is a great privilege to represent the State of Qatar in the Hellenic Republic, the birthplace of philosophy and democracy and the Cradle of civilization and history.

There is no doubt that the bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Hellenic Republic have flourished and matured more than ever in various fields, while there has been enhanced cooperation between the two countries in the field of international events and fora.

My ambition as Ambassador, is to deepen and further develop the existing relations between the two countries at all levels and closely work with the Greek official authorities in order to strengthen the diplomatic relations, with the aim of achieving economic, educational, social and cultural development for the mutual benefit of both countries.

Last but not least, the State of Qatar has affirmed that peace and security are crucial for sustainable

  • October 2017: Grand Decoration of Honor in Silver by the Government of Republic of Austria.

  • December 2016: He was given the key to the city of Vienna by the city's mayor, as a symbol of the distinguished relations between the State of Qatar and the Austrian capital, Vienna.
