HE President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou, received HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Greece Abdulaziz Ali Al Naama, on the occasion of the end of his tenure. During the meeting, bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries were reviewed. HE President of the Hellenic Republic commended the good efforts made by HE the Ambassador during his tenure to consolidate relations, praising the level of relations in all fields. Her Excellency wished HE the Ambassador success in his future assignments. For his part, HE Qatar's Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to Her Excellency for awarding him the Order of the Phoenix, wishing the relations of cooperation between the two countries further development in all fields.

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs held on Wednesday 21 July 2021, a luncheon in honor of His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Naama, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Hellenic Republic, on the occasion of the end of his tenure and in appreciation of his efforts in strengthening and developing relations between the two countries. The luncheon, which was held in honor of the Qatari Ambassador on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Athens, was attended by His Excellency Mr. Kostas Fragogiannis, the Greek Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness, and a number of Arab Ambassadors accredited to the Hellenic Republic. Also a number of Senior Officials of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also attended. His Excellency Mr. Kostas Fragogiannis, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness expressed his appreciation and thanks for his efforts in supporting and enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, and wished him success in his new duties. From the other side, the Ambassador thanked the Greek Government for all the facilities provided to him during his tenure to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Hellenic Republic Mr. Nikos Dendias met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Athens Mr. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Naama, on the occasion of the end of his tenure. During the meeting, relations of bilateral cooperation between the two countries have been reviewed. The Order of the Phoenix is one of the highest honors granted by the Greek presidency to heads of friendly diplomatic missions. HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Nikos Dendias bestowed the Order upon HE the Ambassador during his meeting with His Excellency at the headquarters of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, the Greek Foreign Minister stressed that awarding this high order to HE the Ambassador is in appreciation of his efforts in strengthening relations between the State of Qatar and the Hellenic Republic in all fields.

HE Minister of Development and Investments of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Spyridon-Adonis Georgiadis met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Athens Mr. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Naama, on the occasion of the end of his tenure.
