His Excellency Mr. Waleed Al Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Hellenic Republic, participated in the 11th Arab - Greek Economic Forum, which was organized by the Arab-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Development on October 25-26, 2022, entitled "Greece and the Gulf Cooperation Council" in Athens . His Excellency during his speech referred to the Greek-Qatari bilateral relations and the most prominent achievements of the State of Qatar in the fields of economy and investments, especially the FIFA World Cup 2022 and Qatar's Vision 2030.

Today His Excellency Waleed bin Mohammed Al-Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Hellenic Republic, signed the Book of Condolences at the British Embassy in Athens, in respect of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Minister of Justice H.E Mr. Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri, met with Minister of Justice to the Hellenic Republic H.E Mr. Kostas Tsiaras, during his official visit to Athens. During an official working session, the two sides discussed means of strengthening legal cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Hellenic Republic. Also the two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries in the legal and legislative fields. This includes working to activate the joint cooperation agreement in the legal field between the ministries of justice in the two countries, which was signed in Doha in October 2021. The two sides discussed the importance of exchanging joint experiences, training and legal qualification, benefiting from the experience of the two countries in the fields of justice services and employing digital transformation projects to develop legal professions. They also touched on strengthening legal and judicial cooperation at various levels to combat international crimes, including transnational organised crimes, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest.

The @MOPHQatar has announced changes to existing COVID-19 measures for citizens, residents and visitors in the State of Qatar. These changes come into effect on Thursday 1 September 2022.

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Kyriakos Mitsotakis held an official talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Monday morning. During the session, they discussed aspects of developing joint cooperation, especially in the economy and investment fields, and exchanged views on prominent regional and international issues.

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Athens, A.E. Mr. Waleed Al-Emadi, met with Mr. Nikolaos Kaltsa, Director of the Museum of Cycladic Art, on 22nd June 2022. The meeting held in the context of the strengthening of bilateral cultural cooperation between the Museums of Qatar and the Greek Museums.

H.E. Mr. Waleed Al-Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Hellenic Republic met on Monday, 21st February 2022, with HE. Mr. Ioannis Plakiotakis, Minister of Shipping and Island Policy. The meeting dealt with reviewing bilateral cooperation. ​
