HH the Emir Patronizes Opening of 17th Doha Forum

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the opening of the 17th edition of the Doha Forum, which is being held under the theme "Development, Stability and Refugee Crisis" in the presence HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh and a number of Their Excellences ministers and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Qatar. The opening was also attended by a number of businessmen, academics, parliamentarians, intellectuals, journalists, representatives of regional and international organizations and representatives of civil society organizations.  HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani delivered a speech on the occasion in which he welcomed all the participants in the 17th Session of Doha Forum, which is being held under regional circumstances and challenges that are well known of their gravity.

- The solution in Syria must be political to bring justice for the Syrian people

- The Syrian regime decided to displace its people and remoling its demographic structure instead of modifying itself

- Development and stability are interdependent and there could not exist development without stability neither stability without development

- Founded political and social terrorist supporst the displacement of millions

- To eradicate the abhorrent phenomenon of terrorism requires global and unified cooperation and strategy

- We must not forget the "State terrorism" practiced under the pretext of combating terrorism, leading to its dissemination and doubling of its magnitude.

- We firmly believe that dialogue is the best way to resolve conflicts and eclipse crises and obstacles.
